BEHIND THE POWERFUL SYSTEM THAT BANKED +423 UNITS PROFIT
So, you’ve seen the numbers.
+423.74 points from 429 tips. 290 winners. A 67.6% win rate.
Not bad at all.
But the interesting bit isn’t just what we made.
It’s how we went about finding those winners in the first place.
Because English football is chaos.
One week a side looks unbeatable. The next, they’re getting turned over by a team nobody fancied.
A manager gets the boot, a key player picks up an injury, a promotion push starts to look like a relegation scrap…
And suddenly the picture changes.
That’s when it pays to know your football.
I’ve spent years fanatically watching the English leagues and keeping a close eye on what’s going on behind the obvious stuff.
Form, injuries, team news, managers, home and away records, motivation...
And those little details that makes a team a better bet than the league table might suggest.
We’re not looking to have a bet on every match.
Quite the opposite.
The aim is to find the tips worth watching and leave the rest well alone.
Last season, that meant an average of just 9.75 tips a week.
And the results were particularly interesting when you look at the odds on our selections.
The sweet spot wasn’t simply backing the shortest-priced favourites.
70%+ of the entire season’s profit came from tips with odds above 3.
That’s the sort of thing we’re looking for.
A price that looks worth taking when everything else has been considered.
And the same approach worked right across every single English league.

Our most profitable month:
In December 2025 we pulled in 55 points profit:
We had 52 tips in total and 37 of them won!
This gave us a 71.2% win rate for the month.
Like I said, I’m not going to just higlight the best stats...
Our worst month (February) took us on a 10 bet losing streak.
Even in our worst performing month we managed to make a profit of 18 units.
It all averaged out to a monthly return of 42.37 units profit.

From the Championship and League One right down to the National League, English football is where our PWR tips does its business.

HOW THE PROFIT STACKED UP

This is where we get under the bonnet and see something interesting.
One of the biggest surprises when I analysed the results at the end of the season was where we made the most profit.
I expected it to be in the Championship.
Wrong.
The most profitable league for us in 25/26 was league 1!.
We had +106.58 pts returned from 82 tips.
That’s a 76.8% win rate.
NECK AND NECK BETWEEN 3 LEAGUES
Within 4 points of each other!
League One, the Championship and League Two all did very well for us.
There wasn't one dominant league carrying the season.
The profit was spread across the leagues, with three putting up more than 100 points.
League One just nicked it at the top, helped by a cracking 76.8% win rate from 82 tips.
The Championship had the biggest workload with 117 tips, while League Two quietly got on with the job and finished just behind them.
Three leagues. Over 100 points from each. That's some pretty solid consistency.
I can’t say which league will be the most profitable in 26/27 but I’m excited to find out!.

Last season set a lot of records for us...
Most profit and biggest win streak being the main ones.
It was also a big learning curve.
There was a lot I got wrong and in hindsight, it makes perfect sense.
When you have the data to look back on, it’s easy to see what needs improvement.
I’m not trying to revinvent the wheel because PWR is very successful but I’m ready to make some tweaks that will potentially make this season our best one yet again.

That sounds like a real power play!.
FAVOURITES ARE EASY TO FIND
VALUE IS WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Backing the obvious favourite isn't exactly cracking the code, is it?
Anyone can look at the table, see the league leaders are 1.25, stick a tenner on and feel like they've spotted something.
But at those prices, you need a fair few of them to land before the winnings start looking interesting.
That's not where I like to like to put my money.
I'm more interested in the games where the price doesn't quite tell the full story - the awkward home side, the stubborn away team, the draw nobody fancies or the outsider the market has quietly written off.
And my results give you a pretty good idea of why.
266 of our PWR tips had odds above 2.70.
in football, that’s the kind of odds range where there’s a lot of overlooked value.
A lot of people are scared of going against the favourites.
But you shouldn’t be... Bookies get it wrong.
A lot.
And that’s what we count on!
Let’s have a look at the teams that did us proud.
We’ve pinpointed the top 5 teams that made our season.
#1 Brentford pulled in 13.08 units
#2 Hull pulled in 12.41 units
#3 Notts County pulled in 12.16 units
#4 Swansea pulled in 11.30 units
#5 Derby pulled in 10.45 units
Only one of them was in the Premier League (Brentford) while the rest were in lower leagues.
That pattern tracks as our 3 most profitable league are:
League 1: +106.58 pts
Championship: +104.35 pts
League 2: +102.91 pts
Another interesting fact about our top 5 that you might have noticed....
Two of the teams got promoted!
Hull City got promoted to the Premier League
The easy thing to notice was where they finished.
The more interesting bit was how far they'd come to get there.
They'd only just avoided relegation the season before, then brought in Sergej Jakirović and suddenly looked like a completely different team.
There was a clear focal point up top in Oli McBurnie, the side played with plenty of aggression, and they kept finding ways to compete with teams you'd expect to be above them.
By the time they were lifting the play-off trophy at Wembley, everyone knew Hull were a good side.
The smart punter spotted the signs before they got there.
Notts County got promoted to League one
Notts County were another one we had our eye on.
County had only returned to the Football League in 2023, but were already pushing towards another promotion.
They'd finished 2nd in League Two the previous season and, rather than standing still, went again.
By the end of 25/26, they'd finished fourth, just two points off the automatic places, before putting Salford away 3–0 at Wembley.
So when the odds were still treating them like just another League Two side, there were plenty of reasons to take a closer look.
They weren't just getting results by nicking the odd 1-0 and hanging on for dear life.
There was a clear attacking identity to the way they played.
And they had goals in the side, too. Alassana Jatta and Matthew Dennis both finished with 15 and 14 league goals respectively, while Jodi Jones chipped in with 9.
That gave us something to work with when you're looking at a team week after week.

I’m not saying I had a crystal ball knowing this would happen.
But, the reason we backed these teams is because they were having a great season.
They got promoted and we got paid!
I do the kind of research that most punters aren’t doing and that puts me ahead.
